We, the LAV
Since this year we, the LAV Tübingen, are the sole organizer of the Tübinger Erbe Lauf. To give you an impression of how much passion is behind our event, we'll take you behind the scenes.
Briefly about us: We are a running community of 7 Tübingen sports clubs and promote athletics from children's age to senior athletics. Running is our passion and we hope to ignite this enthusiasm for you at the Erbe Lauf.

2927 Start envelopes
When you get to the race pack, do you get your race number in your hand and that's it?
When you arrive at the venue, do you get your bib handed out and off you go?
Far from it. We have an envelope for all starters containing your bib, socks (if you register by June 30, 2024), offers from our sponsors and much more.

So that you are always well looked after, we take care of the catering.
We offer extensive (ample) catering, so that you are always well-provided for.

1848 Sports bags
Whether it's a sports bag, rucksack, handbag or even a suitcase - we have space for your luggage. So you can run comfortably.
Last year, we stored 1848 pieces of luggage and returned them safely.
On the course
Guess How many kilometers all the starters will run together at the Erbe Lauf?
19,340 km. That's the same distance as running around Germany five times.
10.000 or more cheering spectators along the route generate a continuous wave of excitement.
The atmosphere is further fueled by three stages with announcers and DJs.
To ensure an unimpeded race, we secure the route course with 1150 fences and 228 marshals and stewards.
30 Training sessions together
Does The Erbe Lauf only take place on September 15? Wrong. Together we will prepare for the Erbe Lauf on a total of 30 training sessions with fun, running expertise and a good mood vibe. Want to take part for free? Have a look under "Preparation"!

Whether as a course marshal directly on the course, in direct contact with the runners at the start, registration, as a hero with water and refreshments in the finish area or as a helping hand during course construction before or removal after the race - we will find the right task for you.
